Bed Bugs Fact Sheet
February 8, 2021
Bed bug infestations have become more common in Winnipeg, and the insects may find their way into schools. Normal daily cleaning and sanitation in schools, along with inspection and monitoring, can help prevent an infestation. While it is very unlikely that a school would become infested, Winnipeg School Division has an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan in place in case of bed bug sightings.
