Community Use of Schools

As part of our commitment to fostering community engagement, Winnipeg School Division welcomes applications from not-for-profit groups and organizations seeking to use our school spaces after hours, provided it does not interfere with regular school programming. 

Our online booking system offers an easy way to apply for a 'Community Use Permit.’

When will I hear if my permit request has been approved?
Due to the volume of requests, the permit team requires a minimum of 2 weeks' advance notice to process your application. 

How do you determine if a permit is granted?
WSD facilities are rented on a first-come, first-served basis, taking into account the needs of the group and custodial availability.
