Registration is now open for the 2024-2025 school year.
School Registration Information
All student registrations must be accompanied with the following documentation Student Registration Document Check List . If you are unable to provide any of the required documentation, please contact the registration clerk at Isaac Newton for assistance.
Parents can register students two ways:
- Student Application for Registration . Once the form is completed; print, sign and email it directly to the school at isaacnewton@wsd1.org. Please include the required documentation to complete the registration process. If you are unable to email the registration form, you may drop off the completed registration in person to the Isaac Newton School office.
- Online Registration Form (option only available to current Winnipeg School Division Students) You will need the student’s username and student number to proceed. The username is the students WSD email (DO NOT include - @live.wsd1.org). If your child does not have this information, you may contact their current school and they will provide that information to you. Please note that students entering Grade 7 and Grade 8 do not choose their options, skip this part of the application process. Please see the following instructions for Grade 9 students only. CHILDREN IN CARE: If a student is in the care of Child and Family Services, a Child in Care Form.pdf is required in addition to the registration form. The Child in Care form must be filled out by the Social Worker. The Foster Parent/Guardian can fill out the registration for the child, to complete the registration process, include the students birth certificate and health card.
OUT OF CATCHMENT STUDENT: If you have a student who lives out of the Isaac Newton School catchment area and would like to register your student in our school, your application will be reviewed and put on our waiting list. Acceptance is based on numerous factors including program and grade request, space availability and class size. You will be contacted if we are able to accommodate your request.
NON-RESIDENT STUDENT: A Non-Resident student refers to any student whose Primary Caregiver lives outside of the Winnipeg School Division (example: Seven Oaks School, Pembina Trails etc.) Applicants must submit a School of Choice Transfer Form and an Application for Registration of School-Age Non-Resident Student with their completed registration forms. Acceptance is based on numerous factors including program and grade request, space availability and class size.
