August 31, 2024 Important Date, School Activity
Welcome Back to DMCI!
We’re excited to welcome all new and returning students to a fantastic new school year at DMCI! Our staff and student leadership team have planned a series of fun and engaging activities to kick things off right.
Wednesday, September 4, 2024
Morning: Grades 9/10 Only
9:00 – 9:15 AM: Start your day by attending your Homeroom (Semester 1, Period 1) class to meet your teacher. If you have a period 1 spare, head to the library for the homeroom session.
9:15 AM: You’ll be called down to the gym for a Welcome Assembly. Leave your bags in class or your locker.
9:30 – 10:15 AM: Welcome Assembly in the gym.
10:15 – 11:15 AM: Return to your homeroom for a school tour led by your homeroom teacher.
11:15 AM – 12:00 PM: Get ready for a Student Scavenger Hunt!
12:00 PM: Dismissal. There are no afternoon classes for Grades 9 and 10.
Afternoon: Grades 11/12 Only
1:15 – 1:45 PM: Attend your Homeroom (Semester 1, Period 1) class to meet your teacher. If you have a period 1 spare, report to the library for your homeroom session.
1:45 PM: Head to the gym for a Welcome Assembly. Remember to leave your bags in class or your locker.
1:45 – 2:30 PM: Welcome Assembly in the gym.
2:30 – 3:30 PM: Participate in a Student Scavenger Hunt.
Thursday, September 5, 2024
All Grades 9 – 12 Students
Morning: We’ll have a condensed 6-period schedule to meet your teachers, engage in welcome activities, and review course syllabuses.
Period 1: 9:00 – 9:30 AM
Period 2: 9:35 – 10:05 AM
Period 3: 10:10 – 10:40 AM
Period 4: 10:45 – 11:15 AM
Period 5: 11:20 – 11:50 AM
Afternoon: Join us for a Welcome BBQ lunch in the field! It’s a great time to explore what DMCI has to offer, including clubs, sports, and other activities.
Friday, September 6, 2024
All students will follow their regular class schedule.
- Period 1: 9:00 – 10:05 AM
- Period 2: 10:05 – 11:10 AM
- Period 3: 11:10 – 12:15 PM
- Period 4: 12:15 – 1:20 PM (Lunch)
- Period 5: 1:20 – 2:25 PM
- Period 6: 2:25 – 3:30 PM
