Daniel McIntyre School is a high school founded on the value of knowledge. 

Dr. Daniel McIntyre was a Canadian educator who came to Winnipeg in 1882, and was appointed Superintendent of Schools three years later. 

McIntyre was one of the driving forces establishing Winnipeg’s education system, and our school runs on the ideals he championed all his life.
