GSA (Gender Sexuality Alliance)

DMCI's GSA (Gender Sexuality Alliance) is a student-run club, which provides a safe place for students to meet, support each other, and talk about issues related to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression by making DMCI an inclusive space for everyone.

The goal of this club is to unite 2SLGBTQIA+ students, straight allies, and members of the school community who are committed to making schools safer and more accepting of 2SLGBTQIA+ students. Students take the lead on these initiatives.

2SLGTBQIA+ is an acronym for Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and/or Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, and the plus reflects the countless affirmative ways in which people choose to self-identify. This acronym continues to evolve & change.
