New Balanced School Day

WHAT IS IT?
- Three longer blocks of instructional time (100 minutes)
- Two longer wellness breaks (45 minutes & 1 hour)
- School still begins at 8:55 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m.
BENEFITS
- Less transitions and fewer interruptions
- More time to focus and dive deep into learning
- More opportunities for clubs and activities
LUNCH TIME
- Breakfast, snack & lunch still provided if needed
- All Grade 1 to 8 students are welcome to stay for lunch
- New lunch time 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
NURSERY & KINDERGARTEN
- Nursery/Kindergarten Classes will not change
- AM Class 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.
- PM Class 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.
