At William Whyte, students in grades 5 thru 8 will be given opportunities to participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities.
Grades 5 and 6:
October: Soccer
November: Triple ball and volleyball
December: Basketball
January: Winnipeg Blue Bombers Football Club
March: Ultimate Football
May/ June: softball and outdoor soccer
Grades 7 and 8:
October: Soccer
November: Triple ball and volleyball
January/ February: Hockey and Basketball
March/ April: Badminton
May/ June: softball and outdoor soccer
In January on Thursday evening grades 5 and 6 students will have the opportunity to join the Winnipeg Football Club hosted by The Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
The Winnipeg School Division organizes events for grade 7/8 students in cross-country running, volleyball, basketball, badminton, and softball which they can prepare/practice and participate in on a weekly basis.
