Skillstreaming

We are continuing to build our social skills with our school-wide Skillstreaming program. So far in the month of January, the staff and students at Niji Mahkwa have practiced LISTENING and USING NICE TALK.

Our Skillstreaming skill for the first two weeks of February is ASKING FOR HELP, which is linked to the Teaching of Wisdom. The focus is on recognizing when you can’t do something alone, and to ask for help in a good way. We will be noticing the students who are showing this skill around our school, and will be celebrating their success in our next monthly assembly.
