Musical Mentors

Niji Mahkwa School is pleased to be able to offer the Musical Mentors Program in partnership with the Winnipeg Folk Festival and the North West Company. A local musician has been coming to the school and working with students from grades 5 to 8 once a week, teaching them some basics about song writing and playing instruments. So far students have been practicing on the drums, guitar and even some harmonica.
