Our mission is to enable our students to not only complete their personal and educational goals, but also to work with their children in age appropriate settings that stimulate their social, cognitive, physical and emotional growth.  Our childcare staff work with our young parents and provide guidance and mentoring.  We believe that the first five years of a child's life are crucial in their development.  

Pre-Natal

Many of our students begin their journey at APC pregnant.  We offer pre-natal classes for our parents-to-be.

There are 4 centres within the school environment that specialize in these different stages:

Infant

Walker

In the Walker Centre, children are encouraged to move and learn freely by engaging in activities that interest them.  We provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore and choose from a wide variety of toys/activities, and utilize numerous play structures.  Both fine and large motor skills are developed.  In addition, some time is also dedicated to short activities that require the children to work on their concentration and self control.
