Rockwood School - Celebrating 75 Years

This spring, Rockwood School will be celebrating 75 years!  

A commemorative tree was planted in the fall of 2024

Our Rockwood Ravens logo has been revamped and painted on the gymnasium, hallway and library walls.  This new Ravens logo is based off the winning design of a former Rockwood student.

Students have worked with local artist Dmitri Melman Komar to create two tile mosaics that will be mounted on the North side of the school when the weather warms up.  One mosaic represents Rockwood's past and the other represents Rockwood's present and future. 

On May 3rd, the Rockwood Parent Council will be hosting a 75th anniversary social at Crescentwood Community Centre!  If you are interested in helping out with the social or the picnic, please answer this quick survey.

On June 5th, the Rockwood Parent Council and staff will be hosting a 75th anniversary family picnic from 6:00-8:00pm.  This will be a fun family event with bouncy houses and other inflatables, food trucks, entertainment and free birthday cake! All Rockwood families and alumni are invited to attend this free event.
