The Lansdowne Leadership Team

The Junior High students at École Lansdowne have the opportunity to join our Leadership Team!

What is it? It is a group of students interested in providing input on school decisions, building our school culture by organizing fun events, and helping our community through service. The students develop leadership skills as they bring and discuss ideas that will help make our school an even better place to learn and have fun. They also communicate with students of all grade levels by reporting decisions and activities.

When? The leadership group meets once a week to plan events throughout the school and community. They occasionally volunteer their time throughout the day to present information to classrooms about activities and events they have planned. They also help out in our younger classrooms. 

Activities and events include: bus helpers, gym helpers, picture day helpers, morning announcement speakers, spirit days, classroom spirit building competitions, activity days, Winnipeg Harvest food drive, Koats for Kids, and many other community activities and events.
