Welcome to Kent Road School Library!

Spring!
Welcome back after our Spring break! I hope everyone had a good mix of fun and relaxation during their week off!
There is a lot going on in the library in April: Easter, Passover, International day of Pink, Earth Day, World book Day, Poetry Month, School Librarian Day, and of course all things Spring!
MYRCA voting also takes place in April! If you have read 3 or more of the MYRCA 2026 books, you are eligible to vote for your favourite(s)! Come and get a ballot slip from the library between April 9th and 18th, and check out the PAC to see the 2026 MYRCA book selection.
We will be reading books about all kinds of love and kindness, exploring wordless books, and I will be adding many new books to our collection that we earned with the proceeds of our book fair. Thank you to all who came out to support!
While we love reading and all bookish things, there is more than that available in the library. This month, come and take part in our scavenger hunt and see if you can find all ten goslings hiding around the library. It has been a hit so far!
With over 6000 books in our collection, there is something for everyone. Once a cycle, students come with their classes to read a story, have a discussion, and exchange their books. Students can keep their books for one school cycle and then exchange them for new ones.
Outside of their scheduled library time, students are always welcome to come to the library to work, take a break, or exchange their books if it is okay with their classroom teacher.
Check out the Kent Road School Online Library to peruse our collection and put books on hold.
