The YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg is proud to be the largest child care provider in Manitoba, operating school age child care programming at more than 30 sites within Winnipeg and the surrounding communities. Our school-age child care programs use the YMCA - A Place to Connect curriculum which focuses on play-based learning. Research shows that children shine brightest in programs that are structured to let them shape the program. This means providing choice, opportunities for leadership, a focus on strengths, and a place to naturally develop the skills and relationships to ignite their potential.

Daycare Children Are People Too (CAPT)
Children Are People Too is a year round child care program operating out Grosvenor School. CAPT is a non-profit subsidized child care center. Our hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding all statutory holidays. The center offers Preschool (ages 2 to 5). We offer many programs and activities including field trips, a music program for preschool children, theme activities and a trained and consistent staff. The center is open to all families who live and or work in the community.
