Action Group

​The Action Group is a team of socially conscious Intermediate-grade students, who focus on ESD initiatives throughout the year, particularly socio-economic issues such as bullying, hunger, poverty and education in 3rd world countries.

The Group spearhead fundraisers and other initiatives throughout the year to bring awareness to certain issues and achieve specific goals, such as raising enough funds to provide a well to a village in an impoverished country, or building a school in a community that doesn't have one.

Day of Pink, an anti-bullying awareness day, Adopt a Village and Free the Children are other organizations and events that the Group promote.

We Day

One highlight of the Group's year of activity is the chance they have to attend We Day, a huge, annual celebration of all the good work being done by similar Groups throughout the province.
